5G large bandwidth capability and support for security services

With the improvement of video definition, video transmission requires more and more network bandwidth. For example, for a single channel 4K video with 4096*2160 resolution and H.265 video encoding, the bandwidth rate is required to be 10-20Mbps, while for a single channel 8K video with 8192*4320 resolution and H.265 video encoding, Its bandwidth rate requirement is about 40-60Mbps. For some AR, VR, ultra HD video and other new mobile services, 4G network can no longer meet the demand, and the large bandwidth capacity of 5G network will be able to provide more high-definition monitoring data at a faster speed, and the higher definition of the picture and richer video details will make the video monitoring analysis value higher.

5G provides high reliability, low latency and support for security services

5G network has millisecond delay, which means faster response speed, which is of great significance for VR/AR security, mobile inspection, emergency response and other scenarios. Through millisecond low delay 5G network, remote agile control of UAV/robot can be realized and inspection tasks can be efficiently completed. For VR/AR scenes, VR/AR products often cause vertigo to the experience, which is due to the delay to a certain extent, and the low delay feature of 5G can effectively solve this problem. To achieve 5G low delay, on the one hand, air-port transmission delay should be greatly reduced; on the other hand, forwarding nodes should be reduced as much as possible and the distance between source and destination nodes should be shortened. For example, in terms of network architecture, Key technologies such as SDN and NFV, network slicing, core network function sinking and moving edge computing (MEC) are adopted to reduce latency.

5G mass connection capability and support for security services

The number of wide area IoT devices is expected to reach 4.1 billion by 2023, while the number of connected IoT devices in short range will reach 15.7 billion. The massive machine communication (mMTC) feature of 5G will bring massive device connections, further expand the scope of security monitoring, and enrich the acquisition of monitoring data, which will provide more extensive and multidimensional reference data for intelligent security cloud decision center
